Live Music – Jason Delphin

May 18 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Jason’s music style is a contemporary blend of blues/soul/jazz/folk and pop.

Jason brings much more than just the sound of jazz to his loyal group of followers and can be regularly found gigging from Byron Bay to Brisbane playing originals from his extensive playbook including some legendary covers to entertain his audience and keep them singing and dancing along to a few tunes. He has also traveled internationally to play at private parties/Weddings as well as travelling around Australia supporting such bands as The Violent Femmes, Silverchair, Something for Kate and Josh Pyke.

A brief (and only recent) history… Jason was thrilled to grace the stage of The Falls Festival in Tasmania for 2 years consecutively; he was also Unearthed by Triple J and he has also been thrilled to be a part of the Blues on Broadbeach Music Festival’s lineup for the last 4 years and will be back next year.

You can find Jason playing his regular gigs along the Coast – some of his favourite being The Beach Hotel and The Rails in Byron Bay and Nightjar, Helm and both The Star and Treasury Casinos on The Gold Coast, just to name a few. Jason has released 5 albums over the last 5 years and is currently working on his 6th, which will aim to have a smooth, Bluesy vibe, set for release end of 2019.

Delphin’s set list is well over 400 songs from current pop, top 40 to the classic jazz swing of Sinatra. Whether the event is a wedding, corporate or just plain pub rock venue, Delphin can fit the occasion. His setup is full of gadgets including two loop stations, foot stomps, and percussion making his sound as big as a five-piece band.
